Muffin has recently finished recording the drum tracks for the second album at Bedside Studio in Sampaloc, Manila. Mon Valdecantos has finished tracking 10 songs and it is now on to recording the bass, keyboards and guitars. Choy Gargantiel assisted on recording the drum tracks. The band hope to finish recording all tracks before the end of november.  They are also expected to shoot two more videos from songs on the 1st album within the month of november. A very busy month for muffin.  Inspite of all these busy schedules, the band still finds means to do gigs here and there. Watch out for the announcement of Muffin’s upcoming gigs. Catch Muffin perform its original compositions at Sazi’s Bar (Formerly Mayrics) located in front of UST along Espana Ave in Manila. The Show is dubbed “Viva Espana” and it features other performers such as Arko, Blue Martian Cookies, Squeezers, Tabass, Pisenlav and Sundollz. This will be held on Sept 5, Saturday. P100 entrance with free beer.

Catch Muffin for an all acoustic set on wed Aug 12 at Genre Bar. The show will feature renditions of muffin original songs and other cover songs in an all acoustic instruments by the band. Show starts at 9pm. Guest performers will also be there. See you there!

Genre Bar is located at the 2nd floor of Allan’s Grill located in Cubao Expo (formerly Marikina Shoe expo).
